PROVO -- After two successful years at Grossmont Junior College and participating in spring drills, Todd Watkins is expected to start and make an immediate contribution at wide receiver.

Watkins recently sat down after practice to discuss his football goals, his personal life and other facts that the avid BYU football fan might want to know.

Q: What are your personal goals for this season?

TW: "As a receiver, my job is to score touchdowns. I just want to go out there and make every catch and score touchdowns to help my team win."

Q: What do you expect the team to accomplish this season?

TW: "I hope we go to a bowl game. I didn't come to a school to have a losing record. We are all on the same page as a team, we all want to go to a bowl game."

Q: Is there any player that you pattern your game after?

TW: "I really like the way Randy Moss in Minnesota plays. That guy can go up and get the ball wherever it is. He catches the ball, makes guys miss and gets up field."

Q: What hobbies do you have besides football?

TW: "I like volleyball. The (men's) team here, they're real good. I really like going to their games."

Q: What was the last movie you cried at?

TW: "I don't cry at movies. I don't go to those kinds of movies."

Q: In your opinion, what is the best football movie?

TW: "Any Given Sunday"

Q: Is there anyone on the defense that you wouldn't want to go up against?

TW: "Manaia Brown, that big guy, he's tough."

Q: Want do you want to do when you are done with your career at BYU?

TW: "I want to get a BYU degree and that should set me for life. Whether football is in my future or not, I chose BYU for the education."
