PROVO -- The BYU Athletic Communications office recently announced plans for the weekly football media luncheon, beginning Wednesday, Sept. 1 at Legends Grille.
This year's weekly media luncheons, featuring BYU Head Coach Gary Crowton and selected players, will be held at Legends Grille in the new Student Athlete Building and will be open to the public. Fans will be able to come to Legends Grille, order from a great selection of menu items, and be able to watch the press conference via closed-circuit television from the first-floor dining area.
"We're pleased to be able to have the space and technology that will allow us to make this an event for BYU fans to attend, as well as the local media who cover the Cougars," BYU Football Media Relations Director Jeff Reynolds said. "We'll hold the press conference on the second floor, so fans will be able to watch the press conference on one of the many television screens throughout the restaurant. We owe a big 'thank you' to the folks at Legends Grille for helping us make this happen."
A weekly highlight film will be presented from 11:30 a.m. until noon at Legends Grille. Coach Crowton will speak to the media from noon until 12:30 p.m. (MT) each Wednesday throughout the season.
Legends Grille, which features delicious menu items such as rotisserie chicken, pizza, hamburgers, steaks, hot wings, salads and much more, is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
