The Cougars defeated every team they faced in the annual Cougar Invitational as both the singles and doubles champions sport the blue and white.

Jeff Das handed teammate and friend Chip Hand his first singles loss of the season beating him 6-3; 6-1 in the singles championship.

In the Doubles finals, BYU's Jose Lechuga and Nima Roshan teamed up to defeat a very good Montana State team. The match went back and forth early, but the Cougars eventually pulled away beating Montana State's Mark Gebicki and Braden Olsen 8-5.

"This was a great tournament," Coach Pearce said. "There were great teams and great play on every court. These are good kids on and off the court."

Boise State, Colorado, Montana St, Utah State and Weber State participated in the Invitational.

BYU now prepares for the ITA All-American Championships in October.
