PROVO -- Former BYU quarterback Todd Mortensen, who is the starting quarterback for the University of San Diego, earned Pioneer Football League Player-of-the-Week honors after completing a USD record 35 attempts for 331 yards in the Torrero's game at Pennsylvania last weekend. Mortensen, who tied a PFL record with 57 attempts, also had a touchdown pass in the game.
