PROVO -- With just over a week remaining before the Cougars' next home game (vs. San Diego State), game time for Saturday's contest has yet to be determined. The Mountain West Conference has helped clarify the contractual obligations the league has under the current contract with ABC, ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN Regional.
"Under the MWC's current contract, the networks make several selections each season 12 days in advance of the games," Associate Commissioner Bret Gilliland said. "They do, however, also have a contractual option to make six-day selections a maximum of three times per season. The networks have exercised that six-day option for the weekend of November 6, so the game times for those games will not be finalized until Monday."
As a result of the current television contract with the Mountain West Conference, the league will announce the game time for BYU's Nov. 6 contest against San Diego State on Monday, Nov. 1. That information will be posted on BYUCougars.com as soon as it becomes available.
