PROVO -- BYU head coach Bronco Mendenhall has announced receiver Antwaun Harris will transfer from BYU.
Harris, a 6-foot-0, 190-pound native of Garland, Texas, earned letterman honors as a true freshman, playing in each of the Cougars' 11 games during the season. He was credited with 17 receptions for 149 yards, including a season high four receptions for 38 yards in the Cougars' 31-21 win at Colorado State.
"In response to the new direction this program is taking, with an increase in both accountability and discipline, Antwaun has decided to pursue his football career at another university. He has my full support."
Harris is expected to transfer to a Division I-A program. He is the fourth player to transfer from BYU over the past three weeks. Earlier this month, Mendenhall announced offensive lineman Ofa Mohetau and defensive backs Billy Skinner and Greg Lovely have also transferred.
