PROVO -- Scratch up another win for the girls in blue and white, as BYU's 22nd --ranked women's tennis team knocked out the Broncos with a 6-1 victory.

The landslide started with a sweep in doubles. BYU's 44th ranked duo of Lauren Jones and Dolly Chang overwhelmed Boise State's Biorkman and Alying 8-5, while freshman Sourkova and Miccoli beat the Bronco's Pongratz and Curtolo 8-5. The final Bronco duo met the same fate as their teammates, losing to BYU's Holden and Boulytcheva 8-5.

BYU's number one singles player, Sophomore Lauren Jones, set the pace for the Cougars as she beat a tough Megan Biorkman in three sets. Jones would lose the first 5-7, but battled back to take the second set 6-3. Jones would get the final set, winning 6-3 to notch the win.

The Cougars would go straight down the line-up with wins from Olga Boulytcheva 6-3,6-1 at two singles followed by Anastasia Sourkova's straight set win 6-1,6-1 at three singles. Then Soifa Holden kicked in a win at four singles with her tough three set match win 1-6,6-2,6-2.
