PROVO -- Cougar fans will be able to see or hear 70 upcoming sporting events via radio, television or the internet.
BYU-Radio and BYU-TV will make available to Cougar fans world wide a very comprehensive schedule of men's volleyball, women's gymnastics, and softball games. Also, Provo based KOVO 960 Radio will air all of the MWC baseball games, while those played on Saturday can also be heard on BYU-Radio.
The schedule includes the BYU vs. Utah women's basketball game this Thursday, Feb. 24 from the Huntsman Center. That game can be heard live on the internet via BYU- Radio. On Friday, Feb. 25, BYU-TV will broadcast live the men's volleyball match between the Cougars and UC Irvine from the Smith Fieldhouse at 7 p.m. The gymnastics meet from the Marriott Center on Sat., Feb. 26 between BYU and Boise State will also air on BYU-TV.
The remaining television schedule contains a live broadcast of the men's volleyball vs. Long Beach State from the Smith Fieldhouse on Fri., Mar. 25. The next night, fans will have a chance to watch two NCAA Top 20 team compete in women's gymnastics, as the Cougars and Utes meet in the Marriott Center for a 7 p.m.
The two TV broadcasts for April are a baseball matchup against SDSU on Apr. 15, and a softball game vs. New Mexico on Apr. 16.
Three TV events are scheduled for broadcast in May. On May 4, the softball team battles instate rival Utah at 5 p.m., then on May 6, host Florida State at 5 p.m. The baseball team hosts MWC foe UNLV on May 13that 7 p.m., from Miller Park.
