SAN JOSE -- Due to field and weather concerns, Thursday's baseball game between host San Jose State and BYU has been postponed.
The two teams will now play a doubleheader on Friday, starting at 3 p.m.(PST). The nightcap is scheduled to start a half hour after the completion of game one.
The three-game series between the Cougars (1-1) and Spartans (3-4) are scheduled to be played at San Jose Municipal Stadium. There will be no live coverage on the Internet of these games.
"Even though we have dry weather, the minor league park officials feel it is too wet to play and are not allowing the two teams to play," said BYU Coach Vance Law.
