PROVO -- The 64th ranked men's tennis team will take on the Idaho State Bengals Saturday at 2 p.m. on the outdoor tennis courts. This marks the first time the Cougars will play outside since the BYU Invitational earlier in the fall.
Idaho State Sophomore, Ivan Moferdin, rallied his team last week by winning his singles match in straight sets as the Bengals overcame an early 1-0 deficit to Weber State. Overall Idaho State is 2-7 with wins coming over Cal Poly and Weber State.
The Cougars are 6-3 this year and cruising with last week's back-to-back wins against 75th -ranked University of Denver 4-3 and 74th-ranked Colorado 7-0. With a BYU win, the team would remain undefeated at home, winning six straight.
The match begins with doubles at 2 p.m. The public is invited to attend; admission to the event is free.
