PROVO -- BYU will continue its spring season with three games in Las Vegas Saturday March 5 for the UNLV Invitational at the Peter Johann Memorial Field.

The Cougars face off first against UC Riverside at 10:15 a.m., followed by Utah at 4 p.m. and UNLV at 5 p.m. Each game will feature two 25-miute halves and a full roster.

"This tournament gives the opportunity for a lot of players to get some good minutes and showcase their talents," said head coach Jennifer Rockwood. "The spring games really are used to develop the players, give them minutes, and have a lot of fun."

The Cougars kicked off the spring season to a great start last weekend with a last-second goal by Carolyn Swenson to lift BYU to a 1-0 victory over Dixie College. In their second game, the Cougars exploded offensively with four goals from different players and defeated Weber State 4-0. The tournament's last game ended in a 0-0 tie between BYU and Utah State.
