I chose track over other sports because: It was a lot of fun to set measureable goals and reach them.

Before a meet I: Eat dinner with my teammate and visualize myself doing well.

How did I spend my off-season: Running and swimming. (The splash-splash kind of swimming.)

Who has been the greatest influence on my track career and why: My older brother Andy. He came to BYU and after seeing him run well, I took things more seriously.

What I want to be doing 20 years from now: Retired on the beach.

Who is the best athlete I have ever competed against: Aimee Dorais in basketball and Laura Dorais in Dance. They're good.

What would I like to do sometime in my life: Swim in the Aegean.

My favorite TV show as a child was: DuckTales

If I could compete in another sport it would be: Football

My most memorable athletic achievement is: Running with Lars Kjerengtroen, David Chesser and Josh McAdams on the distance medley relay team at indoor nationals.

What I like to do outside of track: Eat and sleep.

My favorite professor or class I've taken at BYU: Dr. Hess - Botany and Biology 220

I never get tired of: Chinese food
