Single-game Tickets, Flex Plans on Sale

PROVO -- With less than two weeks from the beginning of one of the most anticipated football seasons in recent history, BYU today announced single game tickets and the newly created Flex Plan ticket option will go on sale to the general public Tuesday, August 23.

"We expect to sell thousands of single-game tickets and Flex Plans in the next 10-days." said BYU marketing director, Tony Jewkes. "With a sell-out expected for the Boston College game on September 3, we encourage fans to get their tickets early, not only for peace of mind, but also to avoid potentially long Will-Call lines on game day."

Season tickets are still available and offer the best seat locations and value, saving fans up to $44. Single-game tickets in the end zone are $17 and sideline bench seats are $30 for all games except Boston College (Sept. 3) and Utah (Nov. 19). End zone tickets to those games are $25, sideline bench seats are $40.

The new family-friendly Flex Plan allows fans to use 10 single-game tickets in any combination for the Eastern Illinois (Sept. 10), TCU (Sept. 24), Colorado State (Oct. 15) and Air Force (Oct. 29) games for only $100.

Fans wishing to purchase tickets for the BYU/Utah game on November 19 in Provo, who are not Cougar Club members or season tickets holders, may either purchase tickets to another BYU home game in an equal number of those desired for the Utah game or place an order beginning Monday, October 3.

In reference to the Utah single-game tickets Jewkes said, "With ticket demand high for the Utah game, we want to reward our season ticket holders, Cougar Club members and those who buy tickets to other home games by giving them ticket buying priority over those that just want tickets for one game."

Fans may order on-line at BYUtickets.com beginning Tuesday morning after midnight as BYUtickets.com operates 24 hours a day. Marriott Center Ticket office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (MST). To reach the ticket office call 422-BYU1 or 1 800 322-BYU1.

As of Monday, the BYU ticket office reported that over 35,000 season tickets have been sold, including over 2,200 new season-ticket orders. It is expected this year's season-ticket total will exceed 45,000.
