PROVO -- It was a sweet homecoming for senior Charlene Lui, dominating in the competition on her way to being named the OHANA Hotels & Resorts No Ka Oi tournament MVP.

The championship game against the University of Hawai'i was a hard fought defensive battle with neither team allowing a single goal. With 33 seconds left in the second overtime, Lui kicked the 35-yard game-winning goal.

"It was nearing the end of the second overtime and I got chills," Lui said. "It was almost like I knew we were going to win. I just knew the goal was going to come. When I got the ball I thought, 'Here goes nothing.' It felt like the angels must have carried that ball. It was perfect."

The last-second goal helped Lui on her way to being named the tournament MVP.

Five other Cougars were also named to the All-Tournament team: Jaime Rendich Beck, Katie Larkin, Carolyn Swenson, Claire Thomas and Natalie Nate.
