PROVO -- Due to scheduling complications, ESPN has announced it will be unable to broadcast BYU's game at San Diego State on ESPN Classic.
As a result, the game will be broadcast live by SportsWest on KSL-TV in Salt Lake City and on Channel 4 in San Diego. The game will be available on pay-per-view via ESPN's GamePlan and on ESPN GamePlan Online. In addition, the game will be broadcast live on the Church Satellite System.
"We always do everything possible to serve our fans, so we're disappointed that, due to scheduling complications, ESPN Classic is not able to televise the BYU-San Diego State game as originally intended," said Kurt Dargis, ESPN Program Manager. "However, we're happy that, in this case, SportsWest is able to step in and carry this game locally for BYU fans, and we'll make it available for fans nationally on ESPN GamePlan and ESPN GamePlan Online."
Kickoff for the game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. (PT) on Saturday, Oct. 1.
