On Monday, October 3, 2005, Master's Champion Mike Weir, Senior PGA Champion Mike Reid, and World Golf Hall of Fame Member Johnny Miller will be returning to the site of their college careers to participate in this year's 16th Annual Cougar Day.
The Mike Weir and Johnny Miller clinics will begin at 9:30 am on the first tee at Riverside Country Club, followed by a long drive contest, and an 18-hole Pro-Am event. Come out and witness some of the world's greatest golfers demonstrate how they play golf. The events are completely free to attend and would make a great outing for friends and family.
Cougar Day began 32 years ago when then BYU head golf coach Karl Tucker the vision to create an event where former Cougar golf team members could reunite and demonstrate their world-class skills to the public. Now, taking place for 16th time, Cougar Day is as strong as ever and sure to be a great event to attend.
Other former Cougar greats like PGA Tour players Dean Wilson, Richard Zokol, and Keith Clearwater will also be there to impress, along with the 2005-2006 BYU Men's Golf Team.
