OUTBACK BUFFET BOWL -- Before they find out who is superior on the football field, our teams go head to head where it counts -- at the dinner table. The annual Outback Buffet Bowl is a crowd favorite at the Fremont Street Experience (Free and open to the public to cheer on their teams from 6-6:45 p.m.).
LAS VEGAS BOWL PEP RALLY -- Make sure your voice is heard under the spectacular Fremont Street Experience canopy as players, coaches, bands, cheerleaders and mascots join fans from both programs to show who has the most school spirit. (Free and open to the public from 7-7:30 p.m.).
WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 21
CHEERLEADING CLINIC -- Sign your child up now for the Las Vegas Bowl Cheer and Dance Clinic. Under instruction of college cheerleaders and dance teams, children age 5-18 years old are welcome to participate in learning a routine to be performed at halftime of the game. TAILGATE EXTRAVAGANZA -- There's no better tradition in college football than tailgating and no better place to do it than at Sam Boyd Stadium before the big game. (2:30 p.m.-4:45 p.m.).
KICKOFF -- After the Las Vegas Bowl Anthem Chorus teams up with local singing star Clint Holmes for the National Anthem, the 14th Pioneer PureVision Las Vegas Bowl kicks off before a rowdy Sam Boyd Stadium and national ESPN television audience at 5:00 pm PST.
HALFTIME SHOW -- Cheerleaders and dancers age 5-18 years old will perform the Halftime Extravaganza along with both teams' bands and spirit squads.
The 2005 Pioneer PureVison Las Vegas Bowl, an ESPN Regional Television owned-and-operated event, will kickoff at 5 p.m. (PST) and will be televised nationally on ESPN.
