Q & A: Trent Plaisted

QUESTION: What are the team's expectations for this season?

ANSWER: "Our expectation is always to improve. We had a pretty good season last year, but our expectation is to improve, get some big wins and go to the NCAA Tournament."

QUESTION: Coming off a big freshman year, what are you looking to do this season to improve even more?

ANSWER: "The same goals apply for me as an individual as for the team. Obviously I want to improve, but I really just want to help my team win. So whatever I've got to do to help my team win, then that's what I want to do. If that means sacrificing some things, that's what I'll have to do."

QUESTION: Last year after a great freshman season, there were a lot of people already starting to talk about your NBA potential. Do you have any goals in that direction?

ANSWER: "I'm here right now, and that's what I'm focusing on right now. Obviously every little kid's dream is to go to the NBA or the NFL, but right now I'm a BYU Cougar, and I just want to play my best this season and help our team win."
