PROVO -- BYU football will hold its annual Spring Football Clinic for high school football coaches on Friday, March 23 in the Student Athlete Building.

Speakers for this year's clinic include Harry Welch, head coach of California's Canyon High School. Welch led the Cougars to the school's first Division I State Championship with a victory over De La Salle. Tom Joseph, the head coach of Arizona's Mountain View High School, will also be a featured speaker at this year's clinic. Joseph has led the Toros to a combined record of 58-9 over the past five seasons. Members of the BYU coaching staff, as well as other guests, are scheduled to speak at the clinic.

Head coach Bronco Mendenhall will open the clinic on Friday. Clinic participants will also have the opportunity to participate in position workshops and breakout sessions with members of the BYU coaching staff. Coaches will also have the opportunity to tour the Student Athlete Building, the Indoor Practice Facility and attend BYU's afternoon practice.

Registration for the clinic is $25, which includes lunch, dinner and clinic materials. Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. (MST) in Room 220 in the Student Athlete Building on Friday, March 23.
