PROVO -- With the Cougars' home opener just over a week away Fall Camp came to a close for the Cougars on Wednesday.

"Everything that I hoped to have accomplished to this point we've done," BYU head coach Bronco Mendenhall said. "I feel like we are on track and now experience is going to come with the games."

With camp now over, the team will have Thursday off and will begin preparation for Arizona on Friday.

"The team has hit each other enough, the coaches have coached against each other enough, the team came in ready to play," Mendenhall said. "We are ready to move from camp and prepare for Arizona."

Focus and intensity were high while the team continued to face situational drills during practice.

"The players came in with a higher state of readiness both in condition and confidence," Mendenhall said. "They have sustained the effort execution and work load better than they have any other year."
