LAS -- The men had a successful day at the Wilson ITA Division I Mountain Regional Championships on Saturday, winning all three consolation matches they participated in.

Thomas Shubert continued building upon his list of wins this week by defeating Idaho's Stanislav Glukhov in a definitive 6-0, 6-3 singles match.

Later in doubles play, Shubert and his partner Thomas Young, advanced in the draw after the No. 7 seed from New Mexico withdrew due to injury.

Cassidy Mears and Jonathan Sanchez's 8-4 win over Montana State's Justin Hauck and Pawel Turzanski moved them into the next round of play.

In Tulsa, Okla. they women's team ended its play at the Wilson ITA Division I Central Regional Championships after Elle Carney and Anastasia Surkova withdrew from the doubles main draw. The duo pulled out of the tournament after Carney suffered an unexpected eye injury on Friday.

This being the end of their fall season, the women will return home and begin preparing to resume action at Hawaii on Jan. 4.
