PROVO -- Soccer Buzz Magazine released its final awards for the 2007 NCAA women's soccer season, and four players on the BYU squad received national or regional honors for their efforts during the 2007 campaign.

Topping the list for the Cougars was junior Katie Larkin who was named to the Soccer Buzz 2007 All Americas 3rd Team and the West Region All Regionals 1st Team. Larkin, a native of Draper, Utah, led the No. 22 Cougars with 15 goals, five assists, 72 shots, and 42 shots on goal in 2007.

Freshman Kassidy Christensen was also highlighted on the Soccer Buzz 2007 Freshman All Americas 4th Team and the West Region All Regionals All Freshman Team. The Bountiful, Utah native ranked second on the team with seven goals, four game-winners, 16 points, and 48 shots as a true freshman.

Also honored were junior Jessica Harmon-Carter of Provo, Utah and senior Erika Woodbury of Murrieta, Calif. Both were named to the Soccer Buzz West Region All Regionals 3rd Team and were leaders on the top defense in the conference, allowing only 11 goals for the second year in a row.
