PROVO -- Honors continue to come to members of the 2007 BYU women's soccer team as Top Drawer Soccer announced its College Team of the Season, and the 2007 NSCAA/adidas College Women Scholar All-West Region teams were announced this week.
Senior keeper Erika Woodbury of Murrieta, Calif., earned 2nd Team recognition from Top Drawer Soccer while junior forward Katie Larkin of Draper, Utah received Honorable Mention status. Woodbury is BYU's all-time leader in saves, shutouts, and single season shutouts. Larkin led the Cougars in 2007 with 15 goals.
Woodbury also earned First Team accolades on the 2007 NSCAA/adidas College Women Scholar All-West Region list along with senior midfielders Carolyn Swenson of Fruit Heights, Utah and Natalie Nate-Henriksen of Salt Lake City, Utah. Woodbury is a Fitness/Wellness Management major and carries a 3.65 GPA, Nate-Henriksen is an Exercise Science major with a 3.34 GPA, and Swenson is a History Teaching major with a 3.43 GPA.
Junior defender Jessica Harmon-Carter was named to the Scholar All-West Region Second Team as an Exercise Science major with a 3.77 GPA.
