PROVO -- BYU head football coach Bronco Mendenhall today announced junior defensive lineman Kyle Luekenga (pronounced: Lew-kin-gay) has been indefinitely suspended from the team due to a violation of team rules.

Luekenga, a 6-foot-3, 278-pound junior from West Valley City, Utah, did not play during the 2007 season due to injury. As a sophomore in 2006, he saw action in all 13 games and was credited with three tackles.
