Krystle Forester, Freshman, Newport, Ore.

Forester set a season and career best in the shot put on Saturday at the Mountain State Games at Idaho State, throwing the shot put 44-02.00.

The mark is close to a foot farther than her previous season best and is the eight-best toss of the year in the Mountain West Conference.

Katie Palmer, Freshman, Boulder City, Nev.

As just a freshman, Palmer managed to run a 2:10.29 in the 800-meter run in the women's championship heat of the New Balance Collegiate Invitational. The time is the second fastest in the MWC behind BYU's Carlee Clark-Platt. This time came after running the 800-meter leg of the distance medley relay the day before. Palmer ran a 2:07.80 split in the DMR, launching the Cougars into nationals with a national provisional time of 11:12.93.

Chris Little, Sophomore, Los Gatos, Calif.

Little cleared a season and career best of 17-00.75 (5.20m) in the pole vault on Saturday at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational, good enough for a national provisional mark and fourth place in the championship heat.

Little's mark positions him as the sixth-best vaulter in the MWC and tied for 17th in the nation according to trackshark.com.

Brandon Hebbert, Sophomore, Alpine, Utah

Hebbert finished in second place in the college heat of the 3000 meters at the New Balance Collegiate Invtational, running the race in a time of 8:16.51. The time puts him in fifth place in the MWC.
