PROVO -- The defending Mountain West Conference Soccer Champion BYU women's soccer team announced its 2008 recruiting class this week, a talented group of six players who coaches say will make a significant addition to the 2008 fall roster. Among the recruits are three of the top players from the state of Utah, along with three standouts from Northern California.
"We are very fortunate to have all of these talented and experienced student-athletes joining our program this fall," BYU head coach Jennifer Rockwood said. "Each and every one of them will have a positive impact on our team. They each come from successful high school and club teams where they were able to gain valuable training and experience that has prepared them for the Division I level. We believe that the addition of these outstanding players to our returning roster will help us to achieve our goal of being a national force in women's soccer."
