PROVO -- BYU football will hold its annual Spring Football Clinic for high school football coaches on Friday, March 21 in the Student Athlete Building.

Speakers for this year's clinic include John Barnes, Chris Jones and Steve Gervais. Barnes, the head coach at California's Los Alamitos High School and winner of four CIF titles, is the winningest football coach in Orange County history. Jones is the head coach at Vista del Lago High School in Folsom, Calif. He won three CIF titles in seven years as the head coach at Oak Ridge High School prior to taking over at Vista del Lago. Gervais is the head coach at Skyline High School in Sammamish, Wash. He is the winner of six state championship titles.

BYU head coach Bronco Mendenhall will open the clinic on Friday. Clinic participants will also have the opportunity to participate in position workshops and breakout sessions with members of the BYU coaching staff. Coaches will also have the opportunity to tour the Student Athlete Building, the Indoor Practice Facility and attend BYU's afternoon practice.

Registration for the clinic is $30, which includes lunch, dinner and clinic materials. Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. (MST) in the Indoor Practice Facility on Friday, March 21.
