PROVO -- Forward Katie Larkin contributed in each of four USA wins, including a 3-0 victory over Germany in the championship match held in Borlange, Sweden on July 21.
The U-23 team has faced Germany five times in the championship match, losing only once. This is the first time Larkin has participated in the Nordic Cup with the team, and she entered each game as a substitute. The U.S. team has now won 10 of the last 12 Nordic Cup Championships.
Larkin and the rest of the BYU Women's soccer team return to action Aug. 16 for the annual Blue/White exhibition game, which begins at 7:00 p.m. at the newly renovated South Field.
