PROVO -- Fans will be able to catch six of the BYU women's soccer team home games on television this year. The games will be broadcast on BYUTV. The six games mark an increase from television coverage in 2007, when five games were broadcast.
The 2008 home opener against Georgia, held on Aug. 29 at 7 p.m., will be the first game shown on TV. The Arizona game, starting at 4:00 p.m. on Sept. 1, will also be broadcast. After a three-game road trip, home games against the Bengals of Idaho State and the Michigan State Spartans will also be available. The Idaho State game will start at 7:00 p.m. on Sept. 13, and the Michigan State game starts at 7:00 p.m. on Sept. 19.
Rounding out the schedule are two games near the end of October. The Cougars will take on MWC foe Air Force at 7:00 p.m. on Oct. 25, followed by a game with in-state rival Weber State on Oct. 28, also with a 7:00 p.m. start time.
A complete broadcast schedule comprising television, radio and various live internet media will be available on the women's soccer home page at the beginning of the season.
