High school students are invited to BYU’s Miller Park and Salt Lake Community College’s Cate Field throughout September and October for the annual Baseball Elite Instructional Fall League.

Every Tuesday and Wednesday evening for the next two months, current high school sophomores, juniors and seniors will learn new skills, play on teams of 13 and perform in front of BYU and SLCC coaches. The experience will include playing at both college facilities and competing for the championship on the final day of camp.

While the camp will be a strong way to prepare for future college baseball careers, BYU assistant coach Ryan Roberts advises that it is not a substitute for high school practices, but a good addition.

"This is an opportunity to have 11 fall dates with college coaches instruction and evaluation,” Roberts said. "If players are looking for more than what is offered they can participate at BYU and SLCC."

Total cost for the two month camp is $350 per player. Players can register at the Harman Continuing Education Building lobby at BYU, by phone at (801) 422-4851, or online by clicking here.
