Coming off its fourth-consecutive NCAA Regional appearance and eighth-straight winning season, the BYU softball team is currently accepting applications for a part-time volunteer assistant coach for the 2008-2009 season.
The coach must be able to commit at least three days a week between the hours of noon and 4 p.m. to the softball team. The Cougars are looking for someone with softball knowledge and experience, and has the ability to pitch batting practice.

The Cougars kickoff their fall season with an inter-squad scrimmage on Sept. 19 at Gail Miller Field, as they prepare for another year of success.
