PROVO -- Cougar fans take note. LaVell Edwards Stadium is the site of this week’s Friday Night Pep Rally televised live on The Mtn. The gates open at 6 p.m., and the first 400 fans will receive free pizza.
James Bates and Todd Christensen from The Mtn. will host the live broadcast with guests including BYU Athletics Director Tom Holmoe, football great Robbie Bosco and current basketball star Jonathan Tavernari. Cosmo, the Cougarettes and the BYU cheer squad will also be on hand to help fans create a fun atmosphere as they rally in anticipation of Saturday’s football game against UNLV.
Fans are encouraged to bring their Cougar pride and get ready for the chance to win ski passes and other prizes. Those attending will have the chance to appear live on the broadcast. The first live shot will take place at 6:45 p.m. before the main broadcast from 7:30-8 p.m.
Those attending should enter Gate 5, which is located on the northwest side of the stadium.
