LAS -- While BYU continues preparations for the Pioneer Las Vegas Bowl, All-American honors begin to roll in for several Cougars.

Over the past week, wide receiver Austin Collie — who leads the nation in receiving with 1,419 yards — has been named to several All-American teams including CBSSports.com (first team), Associated Press (second team), Sporting News (second team), SportsIllustrated.com (second team) and Rivals.com (second team).

In addition to Collie, several other Cougars have received All-American citations including junior tight end Dennis Pitta. A semifinalist for the Mackey Award, Pitta was named All America by Rivals.com (third-team) and

SportsIllustrated.com (honorable mention).

Other Cougars honored so far include quarterback Max Hall and offensive lineman Ray Feinga, who received All-America honorable mention by SportsIllustrated.com.

Matt Reynolds, who started every game in 2008 for BYU, was named a first-team Freshman All-American by Rivals.com and CollegeFootballNews.com and a second-team selection by Sporting News.

Other All-American teams are expected to be announced in the near future.
