PROVO, Utah –Sophomore Jordan Hammer was named to the West Coast Conference Men’s Golf All-Academic Team on Friday.
Hammer, a general business major with a 3.57 GPA, garnered the award this season for the first time. A 16th place finish at the Arizona National Invitational highlighted Hammer’s second season as a Cougar.
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to his team.
