PROVO, Utah – BYU women's tennis head coach Holly Hasler announced the program's 2023 fall schedule on Friday. The Cougars will play in California, Colorado, North Carolina, Oklahoma and Texas throughout the fall campaign.
"I’m so excited to have the whole team back in Provo together," said assistant coach Gabby Curtis. "We have a tough fall tournament schedule with a few new events this year. We’re looking forward to these competitive matches that will push and prepare us for the spring season."
BYU will open its fall season in Colorado Springs, Colorado on Sept. 14, competing in the ITA Bedford Cup. Following Colorado, the Cougars will head to San Diego, California to compete in the USTA Intercollegiate Classic, beginning Sept. 21. BYU will then travel back to California and head north to the Bay Area to compete in the Cal Fall Invitational in Berkeley, beginning Sept. 29.
Rounding out September, the Cougars will then travel to North Carolina, competing in the ITA All-American Championships Invitational beginning Sept. 30. Players selected will be announced at a later date. BYU will then compete in ITA Regionals in Salt Lake City, Utah starting Oct. 11.
Later in the month, the Cougars will head south to Texas to compete in the TCU Hidden Dual that will be held in Fort Worth, beginning Oct. 26. Following the Hiden Dual, junior Bobo Huang will head to Norman, Oklahoma to compete in the ITF Norman W15K beginning on Oct. 30.
Beginning in November, BYU will head back to San Diego to compete in the ITA Fall Championships that will begin on Nov. 2. Lastly, the Cougars will close out their fall season in Waco, Texas at the Big 12 Fall Championships starting Nov. 9.
