Springfield, Ore. — No. 6 BYU women's cross country won the Bill Dellinger Invitational Friday afternoon.
The Cougars finished the race with 42 points in a showdown against No. 7 Oregon's 78 points. BYU led the team score at every kilometer from the gun to the finish line.
Lexy Halladay-Lowry was the first to cross the line for BYU finishing in fourth with a time of 20:01.5 for 6,000-meters. Aubrey Frentheway was four seconds behind Lowry in fifth place. Autumn Classic champion, Jenna Hutchins was the third Cougar to cross the line in eighth. Jacey Harkins-Farmer and Anastaysia Davis rounded out BYU's scoring five finishing in 12th and 13th.
