PROVO, Utah — BYU swim and dive will open its 2023-24 season with competition at the Intermountain Shootout at El Pomar Natatorium in Grand Junction, Colo. Sept. 29-30.
Meet Schedule: Events begin on Friday at 4 p.m. MDT with the women's 400 medley relay. Saturday events start at 10:30 a.m. with the women's 200 medley relay. A full event schedule is available here.
Meet Details: BYU will compete against athletes from Utah, Air Force, CSU Pueblo and host Colorado Mesa. Team scoring will follow a dual meet format though BYU and Utah will not score their matchups as the two squads will face each other Feb. 9-10.
Swim and dive events will be held concurrently with a live stream avaialable for each.
The Cougars arrive in Grand Junction looking to win back-to-back meet titles. A season ago, the BYU men and women posted winning scores of 1,140.5 and 1,041 points, respectively.
