PROVO, Utah — BYU women’s basketball coach Amber Whiting announced the 2023-24 non-conference slate on Friday morning.
Whiting, in her second season, will lead the Cougars into the Big 12 Conference after a non-conference schedule of 13 games including six home games, four true road tests and three neutral site contests.

The Cougars will begin the 2023-24 campaign with a road trip to Bozeman, Montana to take on the Montana State Bobcats on Nov. 7 at 11 a.m. MST. BYU will play its first game at home on Friday, Nov. 10 at 11 a.m. MST as the Weber State Wildcats travel to Provo before taking on the Utah Valley Wolverines at the Marriott Center on Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. MST.
Whiting’s squad will then be on island time as they host the North Shore Showcase on the campus of BYU Hawai'i, Nov. 18 and 21. The Cougars will face the Wake Forest Demon Deacons on Wednesday, Nov. 18 at 4:30 p.m. HST before taking on the Saint Louis Billikens at 3 p.m. HST on Nov. 20.
After returning to the mainland, BYU will play host to former WCC foe LMU on Sat. Nov. 25 at 2 p.m. MST. After the Lions, the Cougars will visit Laramie, Wyoming to take on former WAC and Mountain West opponent Wyoming on Nov. 28 at 6:30 p.m. MST.
BYU will return to the state to take on the preseason No. 5 Utah Utes at the Huntsman Center on Saturday, Dec. 2.
The in-state trend will continue with a Dec. 5 meeting with Utah State at 3 p.m. MDT at the Marriott Center. The contest with the Aggies is part of a three-game homestand that includes taking on the Boise State Broncos on Saturday, Dec. 9 at 2 p.m. before Idaho State comes to town on Saturday, Dec. 9 at 2 p.m.
The Cougars will conclude the non-conference season with a pair of games against Missouri State and Nevada on Wednesday, Dec. 20 and Thursday, Dec. 21. Both games will be played at Great Southern Bank Arena in Springfield, Missouri. BYU will then embark on its first season as a member of the Big 12 Conference.
