PROVO, Utah – No. 7 BYU women’s soccer (13-1-3, 6-0-3 Big 12) hosts UCF for the final match of the regular season Monday evening. BYU’s eleven seniors will be honored prior to the game.
Monday’s matchup is scheduled for 6 p.m. MDT. The game will be streamed on Big 12 Now on ESPN+.

THE COUGARS. BYU last competed against Oklahoma on Monday, Oct. 16, blanking the Sooners, 2-0. With the win, the Cougars recorded their third-straight shutout victory against Big 12 conference opponents. After dislocating her elbow a few weeks ago, senior Rachel McCarthy scored the first goal of the game in the 43rd minute. Sophomore forward Ellie Walbruch had the second goal of the night in the 72nd minute, her eighth of the season. Jamie Shepherd, Brecken Mozingo and Sierra Pennock tallied assists in the Cougar victory. Hernaez recorded a career-high seven saves to hold the shutout.
THE KNIGHTS. UCF (9-5-1, Big 12 5-3-1) last competed against Cincinnati Sunday evening, besting the Bearcats 1-0. The win was Caroline DeLisle’s 31st career shutout, which places her atop the UCF record book for shutout victories. The lone goal of the match came from a successful penalty kick by Katie Bradley.
COUGARS VS. KNIGHTS. The Cougars and the Knights will compete for the first time in program history on Monday evening.
