IRVING, Texas — The Big 12 Conference today announced the BYU versus Iowa State football game on Saturday, Nov. 11, will kick off at 8:15 p.m. MT and be broadcast live on ESPN from LaVell Edwards Stadium.
The Cyclones and the Cougars will meet for just the fifth time. Iowa State currently holds a 4-0 advantage in the series with wins over BYU in 1968, 1969, 1973 and 1974.
Iowa State is led by coach Matt Campbell, who took over the program in 2019. The Cyclones are currently 5-3 on the year, 4-1 in conference play and 2-2 on the road. Iowa State will play at Kansas on Nov. 4, before heading to Provo to take on BYU.
BYU is 5-3 in 2023 and 2-3 in conference play. The Cougars are 4-0 at LaVell Edwards Stadium with wins over Sam Houston, SUU, Cincinnati and Texas Tech. BYU plays at West Virginia on Nov. 4, before returning to Provo to host Iowa State. The Cougars are coached by Kalani Sitake, who is 61-37 since taking over the BYU football program in 2016.
