Dunyon and Huang set for ITA National Fall Championships

SAN DIEGO — Junior's Jacque Dunyon and Bobo Huang, representing BYU, are gearing up for the prestigious ITA National Fall Championships beginning tomorrow in California. This dynamic doubles duo marks the second consecutive year that BYU has sent a doubles team to this tournament, which will unfold at the Barnes Tennis Center.

A Closer Look at the Players:

Jacque Dunyon

Hailing from Huntsville, Utah, this junior athlete boasts a 2-5 record in singles and an impressive 7-3 record in doubles throughout the 2023 fall season. Dunyon is on the cusp of making her debut appearance at the ITA National Fall Championships.

Bobo Huang

Bobo Huang, a junior captain hailing from Guangzhou, China, is no stranger to the ITA National Fall Championships, making her second consecutive appearance. This fall, she holds a 4-5 record in singles and an impressive 7-4 record in doubles. 

Coaching Staff

Head coach Holly Hasler is in her sixth season at BYU, entering the year with a 58-46 all-time record with the Cougars.

Assistant coach Gabby Curtis, in her third season with the Cougars, played collegiately at USC, amassing 72 career singles wins and 73 career doubles victories during her time with the Trojans from 2015-2017.
