PROVO, Utah — BYU Athletics hosted a dinner for its Black student-athletes in the Student Athlete Building on September 18, 2023.

Currently, BYU Athletics has approximately 60 Black student-athletes. This inaugural event was created to build a community and foster relationships between Black student-athletes, coaches and staff members. The dinner was initiated by student-athlete leaders Trey Stewart, Rose Bubakar and Camilla Andam.
