PROVO, Utah — BYU men’s basketball moved up three spots to No. 14 in the AP Top 25 released on Monday morning.
The Cougars enter the final week of non-conference play at 11-1 following their 101-59 win over Bellarmine on Friday evening in front of 14,429 fans at the Marriott Center, connecting on a season-high 16 3-pointers. As of Christmas morning, they rank first in the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio, assists per game, scoring margin and 3-pointers per game.
BYU continues to be one of six schools from the Big 12 represented in the Top 25, joining No. 2 Kansas, No. 3 Houston, No. 12 Oklahoma, No. 17 Baylor and No. 21 Texas. The top five teams in the poll remained the same with Purdue at No. 1 followed by Kansas, Houston, Arizona and UConn.
