No. 21 BYU returns to the Marriott Center for straight beginning with a showdown against No. 4 Houston on Tuesday, Jan. 26.

PROVO, Utah – No. 21 BYU returns to the Marriott Center for straight beginning with a showdown against No. 4 Houston on Tuesday, Jan. 26. Tip is scheduled for 7 p.m. MT.

Tuesday’s contest will be broadcast on Big 12 Now on ESPN+ with Roxy Bernstein and Chris Spatola on the call. It will also be broadcast live on BYU Radio Sirius XM 143, KSL 102.7/1160 AM and BYURadio.org/BYU Radio app with Greg Wrubell and Mark Durrant.


No. 21 BYU Cougars (14-4, 2-3 Big 12)
·      BYU returns to the Marriott Center on Tuesday following a 85-78 setback to No. 25 Texas Tech on Saturday in Lubbock.
·      Aly Khalifa scored a season-high 21 points in the loss to the Red Raiders, marking the first time he has scored 20-plus in a game as a Cougar.
·      Dallin Hall is one of five players in the country to average 9.0 points and 4.5 assists per game while shooting over 40.0 percent from 3-point range.
·      Trevin Knell ranks fourth in the country in 3-point percentage as the redshirt junior is shooting 47.1 percent from beyond the arc.

·      Jamal Shead does it all for Houston as the senior is averaging 12.5 points, 6.1 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game. He had a 29-point, 10-assist double-double in the win over Tech.
·      LJ Cryer is the leading scorer for Houston as the senior is averaging 15.2 points per game, shooting 40.8 percent from the floor, 38.6 percent from three and 86.7 percent from the free throw line.
