Opponent Preview
Denver has gone 2-1 in dual meets with wins over Air Force and Colorado School of Mines while finishing third at the Rice Fall Splash and sixth at Princeton’s Big Al Invite. The Pioneers’ Jessica Maeda ranks 25th nationally in the 200 breast and its women’s 200 medley relay team ranks 20th.
Wyoming enters the weekend with dual meet wins over Colorado State, Air Force and Northern Colorado. The Cowboys’ 800 free relay squad ranks 28th nationally.
Rankings Review
The BYU women bring five top-50 rankings into the weekend’s competition. Brooklyn Larson, Alexia Jackson and Aubryn Ordyna have each posted top-50 platform diving scores nationally. Larson leads the team with a 220.60 in the platform and 282.95 in the 3-meter, both recorded at the SMU Invite on Nov. 16-18.
BYU's divers will face eight different nationally ranked athletes at UCLA, six of which compete for No. 22 Minnesota.
The Cougars’ 800 free relay squad of Regan Geldmacher, Megan Bergstrom, Victorica Schreiber and Kara Martinson ranks 44th nationally at 7:19.78.
