No. 25 BYU hosts No. 11 Baylor on Tuesday evening

PROVO, Utah – No. 25 BYU puts its three-game home win streak on the line when the Cougars welcome No. 11 Baylor to the Marriott Center on Tuesday, Feb. 20. Tip is scheduled for 7 p.m. MT.

Tuesday’s contest will be broadcast on ESPN with Roxy Bernstein and Chris Spatola on the call. It will also be broadcast live on BYU Radio Sirius XM 143, KSL 102.7/1160 AM and BYURadio.org/BYU Radio app with Greg Wrubell and Mark Durrant.


No. 25 BYU Cougars (18-7, 6-6 Big 12)
·      Fifth-year head coach Mark Pope is 63-12 at the Marriott Center during his time in Provo including a 13-2 record this season.
·      The Cougars are on pace to break the program record for 3-point field goals per game as they are averaging 11.5 makes from beyond the arc with six games remaining in the regular season.
·      Following his 17-point performance against Oklahoma State on Saturday, Fousseyni Traore is averaging 15.7 points per game in his last six appearances, shooting 62.7 percent from the floor and 76.9 percent from the charity stripe.
·      Jaxson Robinson has made at least one 3-pointer in 12 consecutive games, the second-longest streak of his career.

·      Ja’Kobe Walter is one of six Bears to score in double figures as the freshman is averaging 14.5 points per game. He had 16 points in their first meeting going 6-of-11 from the floor, 2-of-5 from three and 2-of-4 from the free throw line.
·      Jayden Nunn was named the Big 12 Player and Newcomer of the Week on Monday after averaging 23.5 points per game and shooting 65.2 percent from the floor and 61.1 percent from 3-point range in two wins last week.
