PROVO, Utah — No. 46 BYU women's tennis will travel to Texas for a matchup with No. 28 Texas Tech on Saturday, concluding a three-match road stretch for the Cougars. 

The match against the Lady Raiders is set for 10 a.m. MDT Saturday at the McLeod Tennis Center. Fans can follow @byuwtennis on social media for live updates and visit byucougars.com for match results.

No. 46 BYU Notes:

  • Head coach Holly Hasler is in her sixth season with a record of 70-50. Assistant coach Gabby Curtis is in her third season.
  • The Cougars are 12-3 (4-2, Big 12) this season, including a win over Iowa State (6-1) and a loss against No. 58 Kansas (2-5) last week.
  • Bobo Huang (11-1) leads BYU in singles victories with 11.
  • Tina Li (9-5) is second on the team in singles victories with nine wins.
  • Kara Wheatley (8-4) has eight singles wins on the season. 
  • Kendall Kovick (7-6) and Emilee Astle (7-1) both have seven singles victories each in 2024. 
  • The doubles team of Wheatley and Li is currently undefeated with 12 doubles victories (12-0).
  • Huang and Kaavya Sawhney's doubles record stands at 10-2 for the year, second on the team in doubles victories.
  • Astle and Kovick are ranked No. 40 nationally as a doubles tandem. 
  • Huang is currently ranked No. 87 in singles nationally.

  • The Lady Raiders are 12-5 overall, including 5-1 in Big 12 play with wins over No. 58 Kansas (4-3) and Iowa State (4-0) last week. 
  • Texas Tech is currently on a three-match win streak. 
  • They finished last season with a 14-11 record and were 6-3 at home. 
  • Earned a five seed in the Big 12 Tournament last season. 
  • 2023 NCAA Tournament first-round appearance.
  • Head coach Adam Herendeen is in his second season leading the program.
  • The Lady Raiders are ranked No. 28 in the country.
  • Christina Tiglea is currently ranked No. 55 in the nation in singles.
