SALT LAKE CITY – Adeline Wach won the Utah Women’s Stroke Play Championship at Mountain Dell Golf Course on Wednesday.
Through two days of play, Wach finished first with a total score of 2-over 144. On Tuesday’s round one, Wach carded a 3-over 74. She triple bogeyed on hole one, but turned it around to birdie five and seven. On the back nine, he birdied two more times on 10 and 16 to finish out the first round.
On Wednesday, Wach hit an eagle on hole five’s par-5. She later birdied twice in a row on holes 10 and 11 to reach her final day two score of 1-under 70.
Wach won back-to-back tournaments in back-to-back weeks, following her Utah Women’s Open.
Salt Lake City native Whitney Banz also competed at this tournament and finished 10th. She recorded a final score of 10-over 152, with a day one score of 77 and a day two score of 75.
Alumni Lila Galeai finished tied for sixth, carding 8-over 150. She shot 73 on Tuesday and 77 on Wednesday.
