IRVING, Texas – The Big 12 Conference released its 2024-25 schedule on Thursday morning, announcing the dates of the Cougars' 20-game league schedule. The announcement finalizes BYU’s 31-game regular season schedule that tips off Nov. 5 against Central Arkansas in the Marriott Center.

BYU hosts Arizona State in the Big 12 opener on New Year’s Eve, the two teams’ first meeting in Provo since an 81-68 victory for the Cougars on Dec. 8, 2009. The Cougars head to Houston on Saturday, Jan. 4, for the first time since TJ Haws’ game-winner during the 2019-20 season. They return home to host Texas Tech on Tuesday, Jan. 7.

The Cougars put their 17-game win streak over TCU on the line on Saturday, Jan. 11, when they make their first trip to Schollmaier Arena since a 79-56 victory on Feb. 19, 2011.

Oklahoma State comes to town on Tuesday, Jan. 14, before BYU heads up north to take on Utah on Saturday, Jan. 18. It will be the first conference showdown between the two rivals since a Mountain West Conference matchup on Feb. 12, 2011, a 72-59 victory for the Cougars.

A trip to the Centennial State on Tuesday, Jan. 21, to face Colorado is followed by BYU's first two-game homestand in conference play. Saturday, Jan. 25, will be the fifth all-time meeting against Cincinnati, with Baylor making its ninth trip to Provo on Tuesday, Jan. 28.

Three of the Cougars' next four games will be on the road, all taking place in the Eastern Time Zone. BYU heads to the site of its first-ever Big 12 win, UCF, on Saturday, Feb. 1, before hosting Arizona at the Marriott Center on Tuesday, Feb. 4. They make their first trip to Cincinnati since 1931 on Saturday, Feb. 8, followed by a matchup between first-year head coaches on Feb. 11 at West Virginia.

BYU returns to the friendly confines of the Marriott Center for two straight, beginning with Kansas State on Saturday, Feb. 15. The Jayhawks of Kansas make their second trip to Provo and first-ever visit to the Marriott Center on Tuesday, Feb. 19.

The Cougars begin a two-game road trip with a return to the McKale Center to face Arizona on Saturday, Feb. 22, for the first time since Jimmer Fredette’s 49-point performance. They face Arizona State on Wed., Feb. 26, in Tempe, Arizona, before hosting West Virginia in Provo for the first time on Saturday, March 1.

BYU concludes the regular season at Iowa State on Tuesday, March 4, and home against Utah on Saturday, March 8.

The Big 12 Conference Tournament will take place on March 11-15 at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
