Women’s golf finishes fourth at Dale McNamara Invitational

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. – The Cougars (301-293-307–901) finished fourth at the Dale McNamara Invitational after shooting 49-over on the week.

Freshman Kanyanol (Naji) Aramkul (72-68-77–217) led the Cougars this week after she posted a 4-over 217, placing her in sixth place. 

Arkansas (292-276-290–858) is taking home the trophy, after they went six-over-par this week. Big 12 foe Oklahoma State (294-282-303–879 finished in second and Oklahoma (293-302-300–879) rounded out the top three.

Maria Jose “MJ” Barragan (76-72-74–222) went 9-over and finished tied for fifteenth. Junior Sunbin Seo (77-76-76–229) finished tied for 34th.

Lilly DeNunzio finished tied for 47th after recording scores of 77-77-80–234, going 21-over. Alexa Udom finished just behind DeNunzio, with a 22-over 235.

The Cougars tee off next in Kailua Kona, Hawaii at the Nanea Tournament from Oct. 28-30.
